CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE FUDGE

Ingredients:
Semisweet chocolate - 600 gms
Condensed milk - 1 tin
Salt -  a pinch
Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
Walnuts - 1 cup (finely chopped)

Method:

  • Combine condensed milk, chocolate and salt in top of double boiler; heat over simmering water, stirring often, until chocolate melts. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, then fold in 3/4 cup of walnuts.
  • Spread evenly in a buttered  plate. Sprinkle remaining walnuts over, pressing into fudge.
  • Chill 3 hours or until firm.
